## Wh to kW calculation formula

P_{(kW)} = E_{(Wh)} / (1000 × t_{(h)})

The power **P** in kilowatts (kW) is equal to the energy **E** in watt-hour (Wh), divided by 1000, multiplied by the time period **t** in hours (h).

So,

*kW = Wh / (1000 x h)*

*kilowatt = watt-hour / (1000 x hour)*

**For example:**

*Energy (E) = 900Wh*

*Time period (t) = 2h*

*Power (P) = 900Wh / (1000 x 2h) = 0,45kW*
