How to convert Volts to Ohms

R_(Ω) = V_(V) / I_(A)

The resistance R in ohms (Ω) is equal to the voltage V in volts (V), divided by the current I in amps (A).

So,

Ω = V / A
ohm = volt / amp

For example:

Current (I) = 2A
Voltage (V) = 3V

Resistance (R) = 3V / 2A = 1,5Ω

R_(Ω) = V²_(V) / P_(W)

So the resistance R in ohms (Ω) is equal to the square value of voltage V in volts (V), divided by the power P in watts (W).

So,

Ω = V² / W
ohms = volt² / watt

For example:

Voltage (V) = 3V
Power (P) = 4W

Resistance (R) = (3V)² / 4W = 2,25Ω
