Volts to joules calculation formula
E(J) = V(V) × Q(C)
The energy E in joules (J) is equal to the voltage V in volts (V), multiplied by the electrical charge Q in coulombs (C).
So,
J = V x C
joule = volt × coulomb
For example:
Voltage (V) = 20V
Electrical charge (Q) = 3C
Energy (E) = 20V x 3C = 60J
