Ohms to Amps calculation formula with volts
I(A) = V(V) / R(Ω)
The current I in amps (A) is equal to the voltage V in volts (V), divided by the resistance R in ohms (Ω).
So,
A = V / Ω
amp = volt / ohm
For example:
Voltage (V) = 15V
Resistance (R) = 20Ω
Current (I) = 15V / 20Ω = 0,75A

Ohms to Amps calculation formula with watts
I(A) = √ (P(W) / R(Ω))
The current I in amps (A) is equal to the square root of the power P in watts (W), divided by the resistance R in ohms (Ω).
So,
A = √ (W / Ω)
amp = √ (watt / ohm)
For example:
Power (P) = 40W
Resistance (R) = 80Ω
Current (I) = √ (40W / 80Ω) = 0.7071A
