## mA to amps calculation formula

I_{(A)} = I_{(mA)} / 1000

The phase current **I** in amps (A) is equal to the current **I** in milliamps (mA), divided by 1000.

So,

*A = mA / 1000*

*amp = milliamp / 1000*

**For example:**

*Phase current (I _{(mA)}) = 2000mA*

*Phase current (I _{(A)}) = 2000mA / 1000 = 2A*
