kW to kJ calculation formula
E(kJ) = P(kW) × t(s)
The energy E in kilojoules (kJ) is equal to the power P in kilowatts (kW), multiplied by the time period t in seconds (s).
So,
kJ = kW x s
kilojoule = kilowatt x second
For example:
Power (P) = 2,5kW
Time period = 5 seconds
Energy (E) = 2,5kW x 5s = 12,5kJ
