P(W) = 1000 x E(kJ) / t(s)
The power P in watts (W) is equal to 1000, multiplied by the energy E in kilojoules (kJ), divided by the time period t in seconds (s).
So,
W = 1000 × kJ / s
watt = 1000 × kilojoule / second
For example:
Energy (E) = 12kJ
Time period = 10s
Power (P) = 1000 x 12kJ / 10s = 1200W
