How to convert kJ to Watts

kJ to watts calculation formula

P(W) = 1000 x E(kJ) / t(s)

The power P in watts (W) is equal to 1000, multiplied by the energy E in kilojoules (kJ), divided by the time period t in seconds (s).

So,

W = 1000 × kJ / s
watt = 1000 × kilojoule / second

For example:

Energy (E) = 12kJ
Time period = 10s

Power (P) = 1000 x 12kJ / 10s = 1200W
