How to convert kJ to kW

P_(kW) = E_(kJ) / t_(s)

The power P in kilowatts (kW) is equal to the energy E in kilojoules (kJ), divided by the time period t in seconds (s).

So,

kW = kJ / s
kilowatt = kilojoule / second

For example:

Energy (E) = 12kJ
Time period = 10s

Power (P) = 12kJ / 10s = 1,2kW
