Joules to watts calculation formula
P(W) = E(J) / t(s)
The power P in watts (W) is equal to the energy E in joules (J), divided by the time period t in seconds (s).
So,
W = J / s
watt = joule / second
For example:
Energy (E) = 45J
Time period = 5s
Power (P) = 45J / 5s = 9W
