Joules to kW calculation formula
P(kW) = E(J) / (1000 x t(s))
The power P in kilowatts (kW) is equal to the energy E in joules (J), divided by 1000, multiplied by the time period t in seconds (s).
So,
kW = J / (1000 × s)
kilowatt = joule / (1000 × second)
For example:
Energy (E) = 65J
Time period (t) = 15s
Power (P) = 65J / (1000 x 15s) = 0,004kW
